1 Start here: the whole model
How to read the model site: what the link opened, where the layers are, how to show one layer at a time, and which question each whole-model view answers. 4:02
One silent video per layer of the model, captioned step by step: how to open each diagram, what it shows at that layer, and — in each — one element deleted before recording and added back on camera. The model opens in Sysprose, a browser modeller for a SysML v2–style notation: open the model and follow along. Edits stay in your browser; how a change reaches the repository is in CONTRIBUTING.md.

Before the layers: the #Tag keywords every layer uses, and the definitions every layer shares — the items that flow, the ports and interfaces they cross, and the measures of effectiveness. 3:33
How the tasked area is watched and reported today, with no system named: the entities, what each does, what they exchange, and the operational modes and states. 4:21
The system as one black box: the functions it performs, the actors it serves, the modes it can be in and the requirements it meets. No design choices yet. 3:20
The black box opened into logical components: the drones, the ground station and the triage unit, with every logical function allocated to one of them. Nothing physical is chosen yet. 4:22
The components that will be built: behaviour parts hosted in node parts, physical links that are typed, and the budgets the design must hold. 3:32
One configuration item per thing procured, built or delivered, each with its contract as a requirement definition and a verification case that checks it. 3:05
